Update Rollup 5
Update Rollup 5 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 (KB 970141)

Microsoft has released Update Rollup 5 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. The update includes bug fixes and performance enhancements packaged together for easy deployment.

Update Rollup 5 is available for all languages that are supported by Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.

Important: This update is not necessary for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. All updates are installed automatically.
We recommend customers install the update rollup to keep your software performing at its best. Installing previous update rollups is not a requirement to installing the current rollup.

Mobile Express for Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Mobile Express for Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Mobile Express for Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a new feature that enables users to access Microsoft Dynamics CRM data from a mobile Web browser on a Web-enabled mobile device. This feature must be installed on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server, and can work over the Internet if Microsoft Dynamics CRM is set up for Internet-facing deployment, or within a company intranet. It is available as a free download for English versions of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Once installed, users can view and modify Microsoft Dynamics CRM data from a web browser on their device.

The Agent Communications Panel is an add-in that works with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2. It enables users to manage communications (make calls, receive calls, conference, and chat) from their Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM SDK Update 4.0.9

The latest version of the SDK for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 contains new information including metadata browser pages, Visual Studio templates for Visual Studio 2005 and 2008, and articles about working with KB Articles. It also includes new samples for server-to-server authentication , dependent picklists, and deleting asynchronous records, and new properties available for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, including one for retrieving the logged-on user's ID.
