Volume 11, Issue 12: June 3, 2009 Note from the Editor | | Greetings, and Welcome to TechNet Flash. We're moving into summer and that means we start to see the sun as often as a couple times a week here in the Northwest. For us soggy Seattleites, that's nothing to complain about. Sightings of that strange yellow orb traditionally portend a slight slow-down in the volume of announcements, giving us time to go scrape the moss off, well, everything! The moss may have to wait this year. Here's an example: Windows Vista Service Pack 2 and Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 Available for Download Service Pack 2, the latest service pack for both Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista, is now available for public download. SP2 supports new types of hardware and emerging hardware standards, includes all of the updates that have been delivered since SP1, and simplifies deployment for consumers, developers, and IT professionals. For more details, see the TechNet page for Service Pack 2 for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista.
