2003 to 2007 Auto Account Setup
To set up a Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 e-mail account, you need to know not only your user name and password, but also server names and port numbers. Auto Account Setup in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 can detect and configure most e-mail accounts by using just your e-mail address, user name, and password. If your mailbox is on a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 server, your account will be created automatically via your network credentials.

To create a new Outlook 2007 e-mail account:
1. Click Start, right-click the Outlook icon, and then click Properties.
2. Click E-mail Accounts, and then click New on the E-mail tab.
