DDC 2008
Are you registered? If you are an advanced driver developer or tester, you should be. Windows Driver Developer Conference (DDC) 2008 is fast approaching! Registration closes September 25.

DDC is all about content--deep technical content, hands-on technical labs, close interaction with Microsoft driver developers and testers, and no keynote addresses. This event will focus on key Windows 7 concepts and internals, device driver development, and technology-specific implementation. If you are an advanced driver developer or tester who needs to know about Windows 7, you should request to attend DDC 2008.

Conference Details
Venue: Microsoft Conference Center, Redmond, WA
Dates: September 29-October 1, 2008

Request for Registration
If you want to attend DDC this year, let us know by signing up here. No onsite registration will be available.

Note:Due to the confidential nature of this early Windows 7 preview content, DDC 2008 will be held under TPA and all attendees will be required to sign an event-specific agreement prior to the event, even if their company already has an NDA in place with Microsoft. You will find this document on the registration site.

Program Support

Reminder - WLAN Change in WLK Coming
The current Windows Logo Kit (WLK), version 1.2, supports wireless LAN (WLAN) testing by using a software-based access point that runs on both Atheros and Realtek WLAN NICs. The next version of the WLK will support testing WLAN drivers only by using the Atheros WLAN NICs. You will not be required to use the next kit for submissions until June 2009, but we wanted to provide early notice of this change to help your planning activities. If you have further questions, send us an e-mail at wlanndt@microsoft.com.
