POLICY-0004 - Updated the definition of a GPU family. POLICY-0009 - Added 30-day window to ship audit request. POLICY-0017 - Updated the "allowable system update criteria" to enforce GPU family refresh for Windows 7. POLICY-0018 - Changed the title and added systems to this policy. POLICY-0020 - Updated for Windows Server 2008 R2. POLICY-0021 - Clarified the policy for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 operating systems. POLICY-0022 - Updated for Windows Server 2008 R2. POLICY-0023 - Changed the title and removed the start date of the Previously Logoed Motherboard Program and Windows Logo Kit version. POLICY-0027 - Clarified that there are two different form factors definitions, one for Windows Vista and another for Windows 7. STREAM-0015 - Clarifies that even digital TV tuners must support channel changes. STREAM-0021 - Extends BDA requirements for ISDB-T tuners until June 1, 2010. These devices can continue using Avstream architecture until then. SYSFUND-0032 - Updated the reference to the correct documentation. Made changes in the design notes and applied it to the correct platforms. SYSFUND-0090 - Reflects the WMC Extensibility aspect of SYSFUND-0216 in the device category for partner convenience and consistency. SYSFUND-0218 - Correct enforcement date to June 1, 2010.

Mandatory WLK 1.3 QFE001 Released on Microsoft Connect This fix resolves a problem in Windows Logo Kit 1.3 where incorrect GUIDs would be used to identify the locations of log files. This fix will become mandatory for all submissions made to Winqual starting on February 12, 2009. After installing QFE001, you will need to regenerate any .cpk files that were generated before the QFE was installed. WLK 1.3 QFE001 is available on the Microsoft Windows Logo Kit site on Microsoft Connect at https://connect.microsoft.com/site/sitehome.aspx?SiteID=668. Reminder: Winqual Down for Maintenance on February 12, 2009 The Windows Quality Online Services (Winqual) Web site ( https://winqual.microsoft.com) will be unavailable due to regularly scheduled maintenance from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
