Get Certified as an MCT or MCM at Special Microsoft Training Events (Worldwide)
MCT Summit 2009
Enhance your career by acquiring one of two top Microsoft certifications. Attend an MCT Summit 2009 in January or February to take advantage of a special boot camp for new Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) candidates. The only requirements to become an MCT are a valid Microsoft certification, demonstrable instructional skills, and a completed MCT application. For more information on MCT program benefits and requirements, visit the MCT Program page on the Microsoft Learning Web site. You can actually pass a test and become an MCT during the Summit.
If you're a seasoned IT professional focused on the Microsoft platform, and interested in the Microsoft Certified Master program, it's time to differentiate yourself from your peers while bringing further IT efficiency to your organization. The Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) advanced training and certification programs have opened their classroom doors in Redmond, Washington, United States, for candidates from around the world. Designed for IT professionals with approximately 10 years of experience in the industry, each class focuses on one of the following core Microsoft server technologies: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Windows Server 2008-Directory, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007. In a recent survey, graduates of the program reported increased productivity and billable rate. For MCM training and certification exams you will need to attend a three-week long classroom training that is only available only in Redmond, Washington, United States. This training and the exams are not available at the MCT Summits. If you attend one of the MCT Summits, you could learn about the MCM program firsthand from Per Farny, MCM program Director, and plan your MCM credential.
See you at the Summit!

How to Convince Your Manager to Send You to Training (Worldwide)
Use recent Microsoft Learning research results to show the value of IT training and as a powerful tool when negotiating training opportunities with your manager. Our research shows that training leads to:
Improved team productivity. Studies show that for each new individual trained and certified, team performance increases-every time.
Reduced downtime. Forty percent of operational downtime is due to a significant lack of training on core systems.
Increased employee satisfaction and loyalty. Forty-three percent of hiring managers say that investing in employee development reduces turnover, probably because employees have greater job satisfaction and feelings of increased engagement.
When you decide to get training, consider going to the best-a Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions. Learning Solutions partners are the only authorized source for commercial training on Microsoft technologies. Look for the Learning Solutions logo to ensure the best training experience from a certified partner.
