Windows Summit 2010 Virtual Event:  New Sessions Available on September 15th

Windows Summit 2010 is an ongoing, virtual event designed for people who engineer and test Windows 7 PCs, devices, and software. Windows Summit includes specialized content tracks for device, systems, and software experts. On September 15, a new set of sessions and virtual workshops for the Device and Software tracks will be available.

Device Track

  • Devices and Printers Workshop - Authoring Metadata Packages for the Devices and Printers Folder
This workshop shows you how to create a customized device experience for the Devices and Printers folder by using the new Microsoft Devices and Printers Metadata Authoring Wizard.

Software Track

  • Easier Web Development Using Internet Explorer 9 Developer Tools
Internet Explorer 9 includes several developer tools to help web developers build richer and more robust websites and web applications more quickly and easily. This session will show you how to use debugging tools while building your web application, and then how to use built-in performance and network monitoring tools to optimize your application. You will also see several demos that show these tools in action.

When new session content goes live, it's available from the convenience of your computer at any time. Access is free; simply log on. Additionally, previously released content, tools, and resources for the Device, System, and Software tracks are still available. You can watch all sessions or choose the ones that most interest you.

To see a full list of sessions and to learn more, visit: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-summit/default.aspx?ocid=sum10_lognews.
