Release Schedule for Windows Logo Kit 1.6
The Windows Logo Program would like to inform our partners that Windows Logo Kit (WLK) 1.6 will not release on the traditional six-month cadence. Although we are relaxing the release date, we will still provide the usual notice and opportunity for beta testing and partner feedback. We will announce the beta release in future editions of this newsletter.
Program requirements that are due to take effect in June 2010 are already covered by WLK 1.5 and will be enforced by expiration of the preview filters. In order to allow adequate time for partners to implement WLK 1.6 after it is released, we may postpone enforcement of program requirements that are currently due to take effect in December 2010.
