News and highlights
MSN and HGTV's lifestyle expert Kelley Moore brought holiday cheer to the troops and families spending the season at the Bethesda, MD Fisher House as part of the annual Salute to our Troops program. On Dec. 20, 8,200 active duty military and their families will enjoy a performance of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in Washington, D.C.
NASA and Microsoft collaborated on the "Be a Martian" Web site that enables the public to participate as citizen scientists to improve Martian maps, take part in research tasks, and assist Mars science teams studying data about the Red Planet.
In a two-part series, Fed Cloud Blog talks with Susie Adams, CTO for Microsoft Federal, about cloud computing, the recent release of Microsoft's Azure, and where she thinks federal agencies can most benefit from cloud computing technology.

NIH deployed a pilot of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 to improve its current messaging configuration and found that the architecture and service improvements in this latest version would help the organization improve employees' e-mail experience, provide a more robust availability and disaster-recovery solution, and ease administration.
