Windows Touch Test Lab in Taiwan Is Up and Running! The new Windows Touch Test Lab (WTTL) in Taiwan is now open. With Windows Touch gaining momentum, we are getting more and more logo program submissions that require Windows Touch testing, especially from partners in Taiwan. This new lab will help expedite these submissions and make it easier for partners to ship hardware to the lab. Windows Server 2003 Logo Program for Systems Will Retire at Year End The Windows Server 2003 Logo Program for hardware will no longer accept system submissions after December 31, 2009. The program will continue to accept device submissions after December 31, 2009.
Effective November 7, 2009, All Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Submissions Must Use an RTM Operating System for Testing Effective November 7, 2009, all hardware submissions for the Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 Logo Program must be based on testing with a released-to-manufacturing (RTM) version of the operating system (OS). For submissions made on or before November 6, 2009, you can test with either an RTM version or a release candidate (RC) version of the OS.
