Training and Readiness
Advanced Credential Requirements Eliminated for Some Competencies
Partners are not currently required to achieve advanced credentials for these competencies: Custom Development, Security, Server Platform, Systems Management, Unified Communications, and Virtualization . However, you may be able to apply these credentials toward meeting the requirements for advanced competencies, which are set to be available in late 2010.

Windows 7 Professional Upgrade Promotion Extended
Through April 30, 2010, (extended from February 28), offer small- and medium-business (SMB) customers with qualifying Windows desktop operating system licenses savings on Windows 7 Professional operating system upgrade licenses—with or without Software Assurance.
Windows 7 RC Expires June 1
Be sure to inform your customers that their Windows 7 RC licenses will expire June 1, 2010. Start the conversation with your customers now about making the move to Windows 7.
