Ask Rieva
Q: I run a growing online retail business. However, the more we sell, the less I seem to know about what's selling and why. I get reports from our accounting department, but they don't match what our sales department reports. We don't have a ton of money to invest in finding solutions, but I need to find a way to get more accurate information.

A: No business, no matter its size, can continue to grow without gathering the proper business intelligence. The good news is you likely already have the tools to do just that; you just need to know how to use them. And you don't need to be an IT genius to figure it out.
