Microsoft Certifications Prepare You for Economic Impact
You always want to keep your certifications up to date, but in this economy it's especially important if you're going to stay relevant and succeed in your current job or in your search for employment. Watch this YouTube video to hear what a real Microsoft Most Valuable Professional and hiring manager has to say about the best course of action for MCPs in this challenging economy.

Reminder: Twelve Exams Scheduled to Retire on March 31, 2009
As previously announced, Microsoft Learning is retiring 12 exams on March 31, 2009. If you're considering a Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) or Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) certification, you must pass all required exams by the end of this month. The certifications remain valid after the exams are retired; they will not be removed from transcripts.

New Look for the MCP Secure Site Home Page
Based on your feedback, we recently redesigned the MCP home page to make it easier for you to find tools and benefits on our secure site.
The goal of the redesign was to help:
Enable you to quickly find the tools you need. Survey feedback indicated that it was difficult for you to find what you were looking for on the previous home page. In follow-up focus groups we learned that you were looking primarily for specific benefits and tools. The top seven site searches are now located on large, easy-to-find buttons.
Provide an updated look and feel. We hope the new home page will serve as a simple, welcoming entry point with quick, easy access to benefits, news, offers, and resources.
Highlight Microsoft Learning initiatives, including the Born to Learn blog, program news and special offers, announcements, and additional resources. The Locate a Training Center search box on the home page makes it easier to find training.
Let us know what you think. Send an e-mail message with your feedback to Nancy Beals of the Microsoft Learning Digital Marketing team.
